After having lost a blowout in their game last week, Seekonk were happy to find some success on Friday. They skirted past Bourne 19-16. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.
After their action against one another, the teams are leaving the conference to test themselves against outside opponents. Seekonk will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Dighton-Rehoboth Regional in six weeks at 10:00 AM. Those two teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins. Bourne will be staying on the road, facing off against Wareham. Wareham are limping into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
