The Potomac School Panthers won the last time they faced the Collegiate Cougars, and things went their way on Friday too. Potomac School took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 60-27 victory over Collegiate. With that victory, Potomac School brought their scoring average up to 54.5 points per game.
Potomac School was led to victory by Sabrina Anderson and Catherine Letendre. Anderson scored 12 points along with 6 steals, while Letendre scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Zora Burrell was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Potomac School and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Collegiate, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Potomac School has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart at 2:00 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Collegiate, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Margaret's at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
