In what's become a running theme this season, the Mancos Bluejays gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 82-32 win over Ridgway. The victory was familiar territory for Mancos who now have four in a row.
Brian Veach continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Andrew Jaime, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Mancos pushed their record up to 9-3 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Ridgway, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Mancos will stay at home for another game and welcome Nucla at 4:30 p.m. on February 1st. That game will pit two of the most dominant against one another: Steele Arnold and Veach. As for Ridgway, they will head out on the road to take on Telluride at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
