The Trinity Shamrocks will head out on the road to challenge the Kennard-Dale Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Trinity barely beat Delone Catholic the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Trinity put the hurt on Delone Catholic with a sharp 14-4 win on Monday. The Shamrocks not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since May 13, 2024.

Trinity got a great performance from Landry Murray as she tossed five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Murray has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Taylor Lawrence was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Zea Sullivan, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
Trinity always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Delone Catholic only posted an OBP of .273.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Kennard-Dale ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Penn Manor, sneaking past 7-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.
Taryn Ashenfelter made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over eight innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. Ashenfelter was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Maddie Argiro, who went 4-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Another player making a difference was Alex Davis, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Trinity's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Kennard-Dale, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.
Trinity's speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's matchup. Trinity has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Kennard-Dale, though, as they've been averaging only 1.3 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Trinity continue to outrun the ball?
Trinity skirted past Kennard-Dale 4-3 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Does Trinity have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kennard-Dale turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
