The Eastern Vikings lost against the Vineland Fighting Clan back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Eastern fell just short of Vineland by a score of 21-19. Eastern has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Among those leading the charge was Tyrell Powell, who rushed for 80 yards, and also threw for 95 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes.
Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Vineland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-5.
Eastern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Vineland will be playing in front of their home fans against Edison at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Edison is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
