Public High recap October 8, 2013
Miller Career Academy extended the longest winning streak in Public High this week by beating Vashon, 47-12. The victory was the sixth in a row for Miller Career Academy.
Northwest Academy of Law was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in the league. Northwest Academy of Law defeated Cleveland NJROTC 36-18 earlier in the week.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Soldan International Studies takes on Miller Career Academy. The Tigers are currently in fifth, while Miller Career Academy is in first.
Gateway Tech made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,707 from 11,548. The improvement was the result of a 41-7 victory over Roosevelt last week.
