Everything went Wilson's way against Central on Friday as they made off with a 40-6 victory. Followers of Wilson probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected six blowout victories.
Wilson's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 32 points in the first half. Central countered with 6 points, leaving the score at 32-6 going into the half. The Wilson defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the matchup.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Wilson will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Empire. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown. As for Central, they will face off against Waurika. Waurika have averaged 58 points over the course of their past six games, so Central might be in for a challenge.
