Jackson got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Taliah Cornish out in front who scored 14 points. The game was Cornish's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedie Cooper, who scored 9 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Villa Rica and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Jackson, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

As for Jackson, they will head out on the road to face off against Mays at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mays will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
