Gross Catholic dropped their record down to 10-4 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell 7-3 to the Lincoln Christian Crusaders. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.
Drew Powers made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. Another player making a difference was Maddux Villamonte, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.
