Acadiana Christian won the last time they faced First Baptist Christian and Addison Boudreaux did her part to make sure it happened again. The Lions put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday for which the team can thank Boudreaux, who had 13 digs and three aces. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played.
Acadiana Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-11, 25-20.
Meanwhile, John Paul the Great Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Bishop Noland Episcopal Day, falling 3-0.
John Paul the Great Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 25-17.
Acadiana Christian will need to focus on slowing down Autumn Terrance, one of several John Paul the Great Academy players who made an impact when they last played. She had 12 assists and three digs. Anna Guidry was another key player, getting three aces and one block.
Acadiana Christian's victory bumped their record up to 11-1-1. As for John Paul the Great Academy, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
