Meanwhile, Sky View was the victim of a rough 54-29 defeat at the hands of Westlake on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Sky View can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while Westlake is ranked seventh).
Springville's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Sky View, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Springville might still be hurting after the 58-34 loss they got from Sky View in their previous matchup back in December of 2016. Thankfully for Springville, Kaylee Carlsen (who scored 16 points along with four steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
