If the Wonewoc-Center Wolves were expecting to get some payback for the 88-58 loss against the Cashton Eagles when they previously met earlier this month, then they were left disappointed. Wonewoc-Center ended up on the wrong side of a painful 87-61 walloping at Cashton's hands on Thursday.
The defeat dropped the Wolves' record to 3-15. Cashton's win brought them up to 12-7.
The Wolves are staying on the road on Monday to face off against New Lisbon. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close contest. As for Cashton, they will go up against Brookwood on Monday. The Eagles won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
