Lawton won the last time they faced Saugatuck and things went their way on Friday too. The Blue Devils took their matchup with ease, bagging a 56-17 win over the Trailblazers. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-3.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Wyatt Streeter and Greyson Burrous. Streeter rushed for 123 yards on only eight carries while Burrous rushed for 62 yards and one TD.

Although Saugatuck took the loss, they still got scores from Will Soule and Mason Leslie.

Lawton is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.3 points over those games. As for Saugatuck, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lawton will square off against Constantine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Saugatuck, they will challenge Watervliet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trailblazers will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42.88 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
