Independence is headed into the  contest having just  suffered their biggest  defeat since September 20, 2024 last Friday. They came up short against  Ravenwood, falling  28-7. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Raptors are ranked sixth).
 Meanwhile, Page strolled into their game  last Friday with a perfect  record and they left with the same. They blew past Lawson, posting  a  40-0 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Patriots just coasted through the last quarter.
 Independence's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Page, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.
 Independence was taken down by Page 31-0 when the teams last played  back in August of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
