Dugger Union is 9-1 against Medora since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Dugger Union Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Medora Hornets at 6:30 p.m. Dugger Union has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 30.
Dugger Union suffered their biggest loss since December 19, 2023 on Wednesday. They were outmatched by North Central at home and fell 66-29. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Dugger Union in their matchups with North Central: they've now lost four in a row.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Arianna Frazee, who scored six points along with two steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 60 points the game before, Medora were a bit more limited in their contest last Thursday. They were dealt a 61-14 loss at the hands of Shoals.
Dugger Union has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-18 record this season. As for Medora, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-13.
Dugger Union strolled past Medora when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 56-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dugger Union since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
