The Chino Hills Huskies will face off against the Etiwanda Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Chino Hills comes in on three and Etiwanda on eight.
Chino Hills barely beat Los Osos the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Huskies blew past the Grizzlies 10-1 on Wednesday. The Huskies not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 7th.

Nadia Juarez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Chino Hills got a massive performance out of Kyler Del Duca, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and one triple. That's the most doubles Del Duca has posted since back in March of 2024. Leilani Allen was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
Chino Hills hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in 11 consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Etiwanda got the win against Centennial on Friday by a conclusive 13-1. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by eight runs or more this season.
Kimberlee Aleman made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Aleman was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season.
In other batting news, Etiwanda let Brianna Gutierrez and Frankie Nevarez run wild. Gutierrez scored three runs while going 2-for-2, while Nevarez went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. That home run was Nevarez's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Charlotte Baum, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
Etiwanda pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Chino Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.
Chino Hills couldn't quite finish off Etiwanda in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 and fell 4-2. Will the Huskies have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
