The Indian Lake Lakers will head out to take on the Northwestern Warriors at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Indian Lake is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Anna on Tuesday as they made off with a 14-3 win. The Lakers haven't had any issues with the Rockets recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Bre Wisener was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Wisener was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.

Indian Lake hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Anna struck out seven times.
Meanwhile, Northwestern hadn't done well against Graham Local recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Warriors came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 4-1.
Addy Hensley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on eight hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Claire Stott, who went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Azzy Hammer, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one RBI.
Indian Lake's record is now 8-6. As for Northwestern, their record now sits at an identical 8-6.
Indian Lake skirted past Northwestern 7-6 in their previous meeting on Monday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lakers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
