Lexington won the last time they faced Westview and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Tigers walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Chargers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Lexington's win bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Westview, they moved to 15-11 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Lexington will square off against South Gibson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Hornets have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Westview, they will welcome University School of Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Chargers 4, the Bruins 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
