The Carolina Forest Panthers managed to keep up with the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Carolina Forest suffered a rough 67-46 defeat at the hands of North Myrtle Beach. Carolina Forest was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as North Myrtle Beach apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Daniel Allen, who scored 13 points along with 9 steals. Another player making a difference was Phillip McLean, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds.
Carolina Forest's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for North Myrtle Beach, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Carolina Forest will be playing at home against Mullins at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Mullins focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 last Wednesday. As for North Myrtle Beach, they will head out on the road to face off against South Columbus at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
