Florence scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Austin, 25-10. At the time, the Black Bears were ranked 10th in the state, while the Falcons were 68th.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Florence, who took down 10th ranked Austin, 25-10.
Decatur's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jackson Fite threw for 15 and 11 touchdowns and Harold Blades had 11 yards receiving. On the ground Josh Matthews chipped in 200 yards. Jackson Walraven helped Decatur's passing attack out by catching one ball for four yards.
Decatur's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Red Raiders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Fite has thrown for 594 yards and 17 touchdowns this season, while Jordan Tibbs has 15 catches for 235 yards. Matthews leads the league in rushing with 701 yards.
Bob Jones extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Buckhorn, 35-7. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
