Marana's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kameran Coto, who scored 12 points along with 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Katelynne Hendrickson, who scored 14 points.
Taylor Hitchcock continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Cienega, scoring 26 points along with 5 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Hitchcock has scored at least 25% of Cienega's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Puente, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Marana's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Cienega, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

As for Cienega, they will head out on the road to face off against Cactus Shadows at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Cactus Shadows is ranked 143rd, while Cienega is ranked 135th).
