Prairie View can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They blew past Anderson County, posting a 48-13 win at home.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Prairie View to victory, but perhaps none more so than Parker Schwarz, who rushed for 111 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. Gabe Murillo was another key contributor, rushing for 162 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries.
Meanwhile, Baxter Springs' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Trinity Academy at home and fell 49-13.
Prairie View's victory bumped their record up to 4-4. As for Baxter Springs, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 4-4.
