Alyssa Tipton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Malea Helmink and Lauren Shue did most of the damage at the plate: Helmink went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Shue went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
