Pleasanton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mario Davis led the charge by scoring 22 points. Another player making a difference was Tony Gillespie, who scored 19 points.
Jayhawk Linn lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Braeden Nation, who scored 15 points. Jacen Taylor was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Pleasanton's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Jayhawk Linn, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Pleasanton will be playing in front of their home fans against Prairie View at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jayhawk Linn is on the road again on Thursday and play against Osawatomie at 6:00 p.m. on December 7th. Osawatomie presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Jayhawk Linn in Kansas (Osawatomie is ranked 60th, while Jayhawk Linn is ranked 268th).
