The Snowflake Lobos will hit the road for the first time this season to  face off against  the Show Low Cougars  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.

 Snowflake's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Jacob LaDuke led the charge by rushing for 81 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 47 yards and a touchdown. Snowflake also got a significant boost from  Kanton Turley, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 82 yards.

 Meanwhile, Show Low didn't have too much trouble with Willcox on the road   on Friday as they won  21-7.
 Show Low's success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Jett Walker, who rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and   Perkins Kash, who rushed for 35 yards and two touchdowns. That's the most  total yards  Walker has posted since  back in August of 2023.
 Snowflake's win was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 2-0. As for Show Low,  the  victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
 Everything came up roses for Snowflake against Show Low in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023 as the  team secured  a  55-17 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Snowflake since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
