Despite the loss, Calumet New Tech still got an impressive performance from Eric Allen, who scored 18 points along with seven assists and three steals. Allen has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last nine times he's played. Javon Lawrence was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Calumet New Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Illiana Christian, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-7.
