On Friday Hamilton Christian take on Covenant Christian Academy at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Hamilton Christian, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
It was all tied up at halftime, but Hamilton Christian weren't quite East Iberville's equal in the second half when they met last week. Hamilton Christian fell to East Iberville 14-22. Hamilton Christian got a solid performance out of REGINALD JACKSON, who rushed for 304 yards and 2 touchdowns; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
Meanwhile, everything went Covenant Christian Academy's way against The Church Academy as they made off with a 26-0 win. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Covenant Christian Academy had established a 20-0 advantage.
Covenant Christian Academy's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Hamilton Christian's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll see if Covenant Christian Academy's success rolls on or if Hamilton Christian are able to steal their positive momentum.
