The Harding Academy Lions were the 38-28 winner over the Lausanne Collegiate Lynx when they last played one another on January 9th, but their luck changed this time around. Harding Academy fell to Lausanne Collegiate 46-40.
Harding Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bella rose Austin, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Erica McGary, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Harding Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Lausanne Collegiate, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Harding Academy and First Assembly Christian will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in First Assembly Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups. As for Lausanne Collegiate, they will head out on the road to take on Evangelical Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
