The Clover Blue Eagles will take on the Indian Land Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Clover has seven straight victories, Indian Land has eight straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
Last Thursday, Clover got the win against Varsity Opponent by a conclusive 64-38. The Blue Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 24 points or more this season.

Clover found their leader in sophomore Olivia Lewter, who went 9 of 11 en route to 20 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Lewter also set a new season-high mark in blocks with three. Clara Powell was another key player, putting up 12 points and eight boards.
Clover smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in eight consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Indian Land came up short against Catawba Ridge on Thursday and fell 51-44.
Clover will have to keep a close watch on Katilyn Knoll and Ava Pensule, a pair of players who had a big impact on Indian Land's prior game. Knoll dropped a triple-double on ten points, 12 boards, and ten steals, while Pensule posted 11 points and six steals. That's the most steals Pensule has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Callahan, who put up eight points and six boards.
Clover pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.6 points. As for Indian Land, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Clover hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 56.9 points per game. It's a different story for Indian Land, though, as they've been averaging only 37.2 points. The only thing between Clover and another offensive beatdown is Indian Land. Will they be able to keep them contained?
Everything came up roses for Clover against Indian Land when the teams last played back in November of 2018, as the squad secured a 66-27 victory. Does Clover have another victory up their sleeve, or will Indian Land turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
