West is 8-2 against Seaman since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The West Chargers will head out on the road to square off against the Seaman Vikings at 7:15 p.m. Hopefully West focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, West had to suffer through a rough 58-30 loss at the hands of Shawnee Heights. West has not had much luck with Shawnee Heights recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Keimani Paul, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gad Munganga, who scored five points.
Meanwhile, Seaman was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Turner 60-31 on the road. The win was just what Seaman needed coming off of a 68-37 loss in their prior contest.
West's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Seaman, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
Everything went West's way against Seaman in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as West made off with a 69-49 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for West since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
