When it comes to explaining why Apache Junction lost, one person who can't be blamed is Omar Adam. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points. The matchup was Adam's sixth in a row with at least ten points.
Apache Junction's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Gila Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-12 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Apache Junction is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Coronado at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th. As for Gila Ridge, they will face off against Yuma at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Yuma is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
