The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Vacaville Christian in their matchups with Golden Sierra: they've now lost six in a row.

Carter Brust, who's played more minutes than anyone else on the Golden Sierra squad sat out for Monday's match. With Brust sidelined, Golden Sierra had to make some changes to the lineup. The pair took full advantage of the opportunity: Padrick Kelley scored two goals, while he put up an assist.
Vacaville Christian's defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Golden Sierra, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-11-2.
