For the second straight game, Council Rock South will face off against Bensalem. Council Rock South will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Bensalem at 4:00 p.m. Council Rock South is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Council Rock South barely beat Bensalem the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Council Rock South was the clear victor by a 7-1 margin over Bensalem on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Golden Hawks in their matchups with the Fighting Owls: they've now won three in a row.

Reed Curtier made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Owen McLean was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Billy O'Neill was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one triple.

Bensalem's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Council Rock South, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-2.
