Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Redan should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will look to defend their home turf against Southwest DeKalb at 8:00 PM. With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win.
It was close but no cigar for Redan as they fell 13-15 to McNair last week.
Meanwhile, Southwest DeKalb was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They made easy work of Tri-Cities and carried off a 37-7 victory. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Southwest DeKalb had established a 37-7 advantage.
Southwest DeKalb's victory lifted them to 3-0 while Redan's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll find out if Southwest DeKalb can add another positive mark to their record or if Redan can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Southwest DeKalb's step.
