After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Gila Bend finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They came up short against the A+ Charter School Maricopa, falling 13-2. The Gila Monsters' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Gila Bend saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Crash Davis, who went 2-for-3 with two triples, one run, and one RBI.

Gila Bend's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for A+ Charter School, their win bumped their record up to 6-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gila Bend will welcome Wickenburg Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on April 4. As for A+ Charter School, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Ajo at 6:00 p.m. on April 8.
