After flying high against John Paul the Great Academy  on Tuesday, Acadiana Christian came back down to earth. The Lions fell  3-1 to the Bishop Noland Episcopal Day Eagles on Friday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in September of 2024.
 The  defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive:  Bishop Noland Episcopal Day scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 23-25,  25-18.
 Kennedi Broussard paced Acadiana Christian's offense, picking up 21 kills. Broussard got some help from  Yvette Olivier and her 29 assists. Broussard was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with four aces.
Acadiana Christian's loss dropped their record down to 12-2-1. As for Bishop Noland Episcopal Day, the  victory was  the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Acadiana Christian will  challenge  rival Christian Home Educators Fellowship  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bishop Noland Episcopal Day is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
