Graden Buckhanan Delivers Electric Performance Vs Pagosa Springs
Gunnison's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Graden Buckhanan. Nobody could stop Buckhanan on Friday as he rushed for 245 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 96 yards.
Gunnison's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. Buckhanan and Gunnison will head out to square off against Bayfield at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Mcmillian Posts Huge Game in 28-21 Victory
Colby Mcmillian posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 173 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.
The win (which was Montezuma-Cortez's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Mcmillian and Montezuma-Cortez will head out on the road to take on Pagosa Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Dozier Made His Presence Known in Pagosa Springs' 41-25 Loss
While Creede Dozier delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Pagosa Springs. Gunnison had no answer to Dozier as he threw for 200 yards and two touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
On the season, Dozier has thrown 4 touchdowns while averaging 80.9 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 21.57 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 73.86 rushing yards.

This season, Zook has averaged 21.8 receiving yards per game.
