Conifer's loss came despite strong showings from Megan Swearengin and Eleanor Sikora. Swearengin scored ten points, while Sikora scored seven points.
Conifer's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-18. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.3 points per game. As for Wheat Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.
Coincidentally, Conifer and Wheat Ridge will both be playing Pomona the next time they take the court. Conifer will host Pomona at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Wheat Ridge will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
