While Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Sheffield Knights 43-3. The Phoenix have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering to victory were London Dyson and Adrianna Toy. Dyson almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards, while Toy posted six points and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Akiyra Mattison, who earned eight points.

Despite the loss, Sheffield saw an underclassman step up: freshman Chloe Robinson had three points along with eight boards and five steals. Robinson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.

Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. As for Sheffield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-19 victory against Kingsbury on the 17th. As for Sheffield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 42-16 win against Hillcrest on the 17th.
