After three games on the road, Colton-Pierrepont is heading back home. They will take on the Brushton-Moira Panthers at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Colton-Pierrepont's and St. Regis Falls' contest on Monday was close at halftime, but Colton-Pierrepont turned on the heat in the second half with 36 points. Colton-Pierrepont put the hurt on St. Regis Falls with a sharp 66-43 win. With that victory, Colton-Pierrepont brought their scoring average up to 53.2 points per game.
Eric Friedel continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. Nate Smith was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Brushton-Moira beat St. Lawrence Central 43-32 last Monday. The victory was just what Brushton-Moira needed coming off of a 64-27 loss in their prior matchup.
Colton-Pierrepont's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Brushton-Moira, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.
