The Gans Grizzlies came tearing into Monday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 46-33 win over Midway. That's another feather in the cap for Gans, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Midway lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Gavin Durrett, who scored 11 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Tristen Wolfe, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Gans' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-11. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Midway, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
Gans will head out on the road to face off against Webbers Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Midway will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Schulter at 6:00 p.m. on February 9th. Schulter has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 183 points over their last three matches.
