 Despite the  defeat, Providence Grove had strong showings from  Andrew Thomas, who  went 8 for 18  on his way to 25  points along with seven  assists and five  rebounds, and  Will Dabbs, who  posted 25 points in addition to six  boards and five  assists. Thomas is also on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in the last 18 games he's  played.
Meanwhile, Williams was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They took  a  48-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bartlett Yancey. The  game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.
 Providence Grove will have to contain  Colby Elliot as he made an impact in Williams' last game. He  had 12  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kyrian Fuller, who  scored seven points.
 Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Providence Grove, they now  have a losing record at 10-11.
