Scotland got a massive performance out of Ramsey Hale, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI Hale has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Johnson, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
Scotland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Richmond only posted an OBP of .250.
As for Richmond, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13. They haven't had much luck with Scotland recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.
On Richmond's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jakayla Steele, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
Coming up, Scotland will head out to take on Red Springs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Red Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.72 runs per game on average), something the Fighting Scots will no doubt try to take advantage of.
