Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last matchup, Timpanogos made sure to put some runs up on the board against Pine View on Friday. The Timberwolves were the clear victors by an 18-0 margin over the Panthers. The Timberwolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.
Canyon Clegg made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Clegg was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Collin Morgan was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jackson Sotelo, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Timpanogos is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Park City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-6.
Monday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Park City has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .456. However, it's not like Timpanogos struggles in that department as they've averaged .459. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Park City couldn't quite finish off Timpanogos when the teams last played back in May of 2024 and fell 9-7. Can the Miners avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
