Evergreen will challenge Lindbergh on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Lindbergh will be strutting in after a victory while Evergreen will be stumbling in from a loss.
Things haven't been easy for Evergreen, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to eight. They took a serious blow against Nathan Hale, falling 13-49. The state rankings had actually given Evergreen a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Lindbergh, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. They enjoyed a cozy 33-13 win over Foss. The win was some much needed relief for Lindbergh as it spelled the end of their seven-game losing streak.
Evergreen suffered a grim 13-47 defeat to Lindbergh the last time the two teams met. Can Evergreen avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
