The St. Lawrence Central Larries can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They blew past Brushton-Moira 58-35. With that victory, St. Lawrence Central brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.
Ayden Beach was his usual excellent self, scoring 29 points along with nine rebounds and eight steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of St. Lawrence Central's points. Another player making a difference was Austin Mason, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
St. Lawrence Central's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points per game. As for Brushton-Moira, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
Coincidentally, St. Lawrence Central and Brushton-Moira will both be playing Tupper Lake the next time they take the court. Brushton-Moira will head out to face Tupper Lake at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while St. Lawrence Central will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
