The Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Classical Prep 66-29 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic.
It was another big night for Wilner Rene, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 18 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jake Mekdeci, who scored six points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Classical Prep's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kalan Schroder, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
Bishop McLaughlin Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for Classical Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
