FOUNTAIN, Colo. -
Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, Colo.) took the final lead of the game on Saturday as
Solyde Bankston ran for a touchdown with 2:00 left, bringing the team to victory over
Heritage (Littleton, Colo.) 33-28.
The two teams were tied at 14 heading into halftime. The Trojans took the lead for good on a Bankston touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Bryan Carlson played well for the Eagles. He threw one touchdown and ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored 12 touchdowns on the season.
Team was the top performer for Fountain-Fort Carson. He ran for five touchdowns and kicked three extra points.
The defeat comes as a step back for Heritage, which notched a 35-30 victory over Castle View in its previous outing. With the win FFC extended its winning streak to four games.
