It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Alleluia Community can now relate to. They took a serious blow against the Patriots on Friday, falling 76-45. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Alleluia Community has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Alleluia Community still got an impressive performance from Sebastian Krementz, who scored 23 points. That was a full 51.1% of Alleluia Community's points, marking the 15th time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Henry Balducci, who scored 12 points.
The Habersham School's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter Britt, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hamilton Colley, who scored 19 points.
Alleluia Community now has a losing record at 13-14. As for The Habersham School, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-8.
Alleluia Community will square off against Holy Ground Baptist Academy at TBD on Monday. Holy Ground Baptist Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five games -- so hopefully Alleluia Community likes a good challenge. The Habersham School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
