Jimtown's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abbey Brown, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals. Alexis Garretson was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Penn got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Anna McCullough out in front who scored ten points along with nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauren Walsh, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Jimtown has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Penn, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-5.
